Modeling the strategy or
target state into Engager
At the core of the Engager diagnostic is the target state of the the organizational phenomenon and its building blocks as defined by the organization itself. Through an inclusive consulting process, the target state is distilled into Engager’s 5×3 model: the 5 key cornerstones, with 3 main development areas for each.
Each cornerstone is further opened up into tangible everyday manifestations and practical implications describing the target state. Then, the interdependencies and impact of the building blocks of the target state are modeled and weighted in Engager. When this is done, Engager is ready for action.
This unique modeling method ensures that the development focus remains on the essential, and that the systemic dependencies between phenomena are as accurately represented in the analysis as possible.
The assessment and analysis phases in Engager
Modeling
The process facilitator prepares the upcoming evaluation by working with customer representatives to model, link and weight the building blocks of the target state into Engager.
Start
To prepare for the upcoming self-assessment, after receiving the invitation email, the invited participants familiarize themselves on Engager’s landing page with materials describing the purpose and target state of the development.
Assessment
In the assessment phase, the participants evaluate the current state of the organization from two perspectives: how important they consider the presented issues to be and how close or far they feel the organization is from the target state.
Results
Once the self-assessment is completed, participants receive a separate email invitation to view the results, enabling them to digitally transparently explore the outcome data from various perspectives.
Analysis
If relevant, the process can continue in Engager in the form of an anonymous digital dialogue on the self-assessment results, their underlying root causes, and brainstorming of development areas and actions.
